Thanks for installing Lazarus 2.3!
We've been hard at work on the future of Lazarus during the last few months, and the good news is that our completely re-built Lazarus 3 is (finally) just as good, if not better, at form recovery than the version you've just installed. There are, however, a few important refinements we want to make before we update everyone from version 2.3, and we also need to build the scripts that will upgrade the Lazarus database to the new format.
Meanwhile are also just about to release Lazarus Pro, the ultimate insurance policy against any web-form calamity! We still have a special offer available for Lazarus 2.3 users who pre-order Lazarus Pro, but with the release more or less imminent, it won't be available for much longer!
All you really need to know about using Lazarus 2.3:
From now on, Lazarus will automatically save any data you enter into a web form while you are typing, and will also save the form as soon as you hit the submit button. If you need to re-enter the data into the form, simply go back to that page again, right-click in one of the fields in the form, and select "Recover form" from the menu. That's probably all you need to know, but you can read more about how Lazarus works in the Lazarus 2.3 FAQ.
